Logic - Young Sinatra: Undeniable (Mixtape)
This will go down as one of the best projects of the year, Logic released his latest project earlier today titled Young Sinatra: Undeniable. This solidifies his spot as one of, if not the best up-and-coming MC out there right now. Track after track Logic delivers with a hit, and shows off his versatility. There's songs that will appeal to the mainstream and plenty of straight hip-hop bangers with smooth flows for days. If you haven't checked out Logic yet its time you change that, stream the mixtape below and click the link below to download the full project. Enjoy.

Self described "colorful hip-hop duo" Aer just hit us up with their latest video for their track "What You Need" off of their EP of the same name that took the iTunes hip-hop charts by storm a few months ago. It's a dope laid-back track with a video that fits the vibe perfectly, it just shows them all hanging out in the studio recording the song. Aer's fan base has grown rapidly over the last year or so, they are sure to blow up very soon. Check out the video above and click the link below to check out their debut EP if you haven't already.

Labels:
Hip-Hop,
Official Video
Mike Stud dropped his latest track yesterday, he is making some huge moves lately and this is another success. He teamed up with Missy Modell once again for a remix of B.o.B.'s Strange Clouds single "So Good". Mike kills his verses with that cocky flow and punchlines for days and the vocals from Missy just top it off. Check it out above, hit the download link below and enjoy.
Kid Cudi - Dennis, Hook Me Up With Some More Of This Whiskey!
Labels:
Hip-Hop
And just like that, Kid Cudi is rapping again. After his foray into rock with his experimental WZRD project with Dot Da Genius, Cudi confirmed that he would be rapping again this year and now we have the first taste. The production is interesting to say the least, it's self-produced by Cudi, its his classic flow which has me optimistic about whats to come. Check it out below and be on the lookout for more of this old-school Cudi hopefully coming soon.
Usher - Scream
Usher follows up on his hit single "Climax" with Diplo with this radio friendly single "Scream". Definitely more of an upbeat, pop/R&B feel than "Climax". Be on the lookout for more singles from Usher coming soon, Looking For Myself drops June 12th.
Huey Mack - A Boy Named Hue (Mixtape)
Huey Mack released his newest project in his mixtape A Boy Named Hue this week. I missed out on the drop because I was being a hermit in the library but we have it here for you now. Huey has been impressing me more and more lately. His singles he released off of the tape were all dope and he's come a long way. His beat selection is dope and his flow and delivery are becoming really polished. Check out the tape and download it directly off of the datpiff player below. Enjoy.

Gotye - Somebody That I Used To Know (Chuck Inglish Remix)
There's been no shortage of remixes released of Gotye's track "Somebody That I Used To Know" and today Chuck Inglish of The Cool Kids throws his name in the hat of people who put their own spin on the track. I've heard a lot of house remixes of this track, but obviously that is not Chuck. This one has a sick spacey vibe and dope drums. Chuck did his thing. Check it out and download it below, this one comes courtesy of illRoots.
Chiddy Bang - Mind Your Manners (Official Video)
Labels:
Hip-Hop,
Official Video
So I have to apologize for the lack of updates the past few days, I've had 10 page papers out the ass this week and they've been killing me so I had no time to keep up with the site. Tons of updates coming today though so don't you worry. Starting the day off with the official video for Chiddy Bang's popular Breakfast cut "Mind Your Manners". They released a video for this track a little while ago but it was a rough video and now they deliver with the official. I'm really feeling this video, it's got a really fun vibe and they use some super creative camera work to achieve a really interesting visual effect. Check it out, and grab Breakfast on iTunes now if you haven't already.

Introducing Alex Clare
Now I know we brand ourselves delivering fresh new music, but sometimes you come across an artist you've never heard of and are blown away. That's how I felt when I discovered UK sensation Alex Clare. He is a British singer-songwriter from London, England. His debut album, "The Lateness of the Hour", was released in the UK in July 2011 and was produced by Switch and Diplo (also known as Major Lazer). His single "Too Close" has been gaining the most traction in the U.S. and was recently featured in Internet Explorer 9 commercial. His voice just fits perfectly over the Diplo / Switch production. If you a fan of Collin McLoughlin, you'll absolutely love Alex Clare. While he's pretty well known in the UK, I think it won't take long for Alex to become a mainstay on U.S. radio stations. Other than "Too Close", I've also included "When Doves Cry" and "Hummingbird" (which may be my personal favorite). Check out all the tracks below and purchase them on iTunes / stream on Spotify.
Slaughterhouse feat. Cee-Lo - My Life
Slaughterhouse and Cee-Lo is an unexpected collaboration in itself. What's even more unexpected is them sampling Corona's "Rhythm Of The Night" which debuted in '93. One of the best underground rap groups (not really underground since signing to Shady Records) teaming up with radio-friendly Cee-Lo may seem odd, but I've got to admit this pairing actually works. With this is definitely a more marketable track from Slaughterhouse, you still get their hip-hop feel. Cee-Lo absolutely murdersss the hook and the break. I know you die-hard rap fans may be disappointed, but I'm a fan of it.This will be our their debut album : Welcome To: Our House, which drops June 12th.
Timeflies Tuesday - Call Me Maybe
Labels:
Hip-Hop,
Music Video,
Pop
I know, I know it's Wednesday, but Matt is swamped with papers and I do have a real job I have to deal with sometimes. Even though we're a day late, I know you're all going to enjoy Timeflies' newest Timeflies Tuesday. This time they put their own spin on Carly Rae Jepsen's "Call Me Maybe". Rez absolute kills the production, adding a little dub-step twist at the end. Cal hits you with the sultry rhymes and his signature hip-pop sound. Gotta say this may be on of their best Timeflies Tueday. For a little twist, the boys posted their number last night and had fans call them. They really are keeping to the pulse of the fan-base. Have to give a shout-out to our man Jared Glick, their manager, on becoming a full-time music mogul. Crushing phone-calls and deals like a young Eric Murphy.

Eddy B & Tim Gunter - Tomorrow (Official Video)
Labels:
Hip-Hop,
Official Video
Eddy B & Tim Gunter recently released the official video for their latest release "Tomorrow", it's a deep, emotional track with a dope video. The storyline matches up with the meaning of the track really well, and it all comes full circle at the end. I really like when artists put more thought into their videos and really get into the storyline, it's not just your normal video with some lifestyle shots and cool scenery. Check out the video above and click the link below to download "Tomorrow". Enjoy!
Outasight - Now Or Never [Official Lyric Video]
One of my favorite artists out there, Outasight, is back getting ready for the release of his new album. With the amount of success he's built off of "Tonight Is The Night", I was extremely interested to see what he would do next. When I pressed play on "Now Or Never" I was hooked. While old-school Outasight fans would say Richard has changed, I would argue he's evolved. He is one of the few artists who has successfully balanced keeping one foot in the hip-hop / pop / rock / indie genres. "Now Or Never" definitely has an electro-pop base, but it doesn't overshadow the hip-hop style verses that he has become known for. His lyricism is always on point and relate able. While time will tell if there will be as big as "Tonight Is The Night", I think "Now Or Never" has some serious radio potential. This track will be available on iTunes soon!

Madeon - Icarus (Collin McLoughlin Vocal Edit)
Collin McLoughlin is one of those once in a long time talents that comes along who is just on the cusp on being a household name. His covers, illustrating his beautiful voice, have been instrumental in gaining a wider fan base. His EP "Stark Perspective" represented the culmination of all his hard work. Now he's back on the grind with one track that really blew my mind, providing his sensual vocals over Madeon's smash hit "Icarus"
If you didn't know .... Madeon, a 17 year old French electro-house producer, has been taking over the world by storm. The kid is a prodigy in the world of electro music. "Icarus" is an extremely up-beat production that is certainly one you probably already had on repeat. Now insert Collin McLoughlin and the track got that much better. Nothing short of epic, Collin's vocals fit over Madeon's perfectly. Collin's lyricism and overall delivery really is impressive.

Wiz Khalifa - Work Hard Play Hard (Prod. Stargate & Benny Blanco)
Labels:
Hip-Hop
Sorry for the lack of updates today I've had a ton of work to do but I saw that Wiz dropped the first leak off of his upcoming sophomore album O.N.I.F.C. titled "Work Hard Play Hard". Definitely a more mainstream sound, much different than anything on Taylor Allderdice which is to be expected with the Atlantic Records label on it. I'm not mad about it though, the beat bumps and Wiz delivers with a catchy chorus and sick verses. Check it out and be on the lookout for more off of O.N.I.F.C. which is scheduled to drop on August 28. Enjoy!

Nas & Eric Clapton - Change The World [Urban Noize Remix]

Jigz TheFlyer - Medicine
Another 4/20 record for everyone today. I've said for a while that CT's own Jigz has to be one of the most underrated MC's in the game today. His Catch 22 mixtape was a dope project and his singles are always fire. This new track "Medicine" is super laid back, Jigz's flow is smooth as hell and overall it's a dope track. Check it out, download it below, and enjoy the day.

Kinetics & One Love - Dazed and Confused (Remix) from Kinetics on Vimeo.
Kinetics & One Love just dropped this video for their track "Dazed and Confused" in honor of 4/20. The track is a rework of M83's "Midnight City", these two have been impressing the hell out of me lately and their best work is yet to be heard. Kinetics is dropping a mixtape in May and then their album You Are Not Alone drops June 19th. I met up with them in the city after their show at Webster Hall last month and got a sneak peek at the album and it is truly unreal. Tons of mainstream, radio potential while still having a dope hip-hop feel. Kinetic's flow and delivery have gotten ridiculously smooth as well. For now check out "Dazed and Confused" above and be on the lookout for more coming from these two very soon. Enjoy!

Dillon Cooper - Common People ft. Bianelys
Labels:
Hip-Hop,
Official Video
I've been struggling to find some fresh new music today but sometimes it comes to you instead which is what happened with this track. We just got hit up with this new video from Brooklyn rapper Dillon Cooper. I've never heard anything from Dillon before but he impressed the hell out of me with this new single. His new track "Common People" has a great vibe and dropped with an accompanying video done by none other than Jon Kilmer Studios. Dillon kills this track, he's got a quick, lyrically-tight flow that I'm really feeling. He goes in over a dope upbeat, feel-good beat and the vocals on the hook are compliments of Dillon's fellow Berklee College of Music student Bianelys. Overall this is a really solid showing from Dillon and I'm looking forward to hearing his future releases, for now check out the video for "Common People" above and download it below. Enjoy.
Major Lazer - Get Free (feat. Amber Coffman)
Labels:
Chill,
College Music,
Indie
Little behind on this one, but what can you do. Major Lazer is the collaborative musical project from DJ/Producers Diplo and Switch. They teamed up with Amber Coffman of Dirty Projectors on this extremely mellow and catchy tune. While this isn't going to be a track you're going to have blasting at parties, it's something you're definitely going to want to relax to. When I first heard this song, my first thought was that the production was perfect for Frank Ocean. Not hating on Amber Coffman at all, I actually think her vocals are really smooth, but I can just imagine Frank having all the ladies swoon over this.
Asher Roth - Party Girl feat. Meek Mill (Prod. by Oren Yoel)
Labels:
Hip-Hop
Asher Paul Roth is back in full force. While getting ready for the release for his sophomore effort " Is This Too Orange", due out this fall, he let this jam loose. On "Party Girl", Asher teams up with Maybach Music Group's Meek Mill. This summer-time tune features producer Oren Yoel using a creative Eddie Murphy "Party All The Time" sample (original below). Asher provides his signature flair that made him one of the house-hold names in music, while Meek hits you with a smooth delivery and clever lyricism. Will "Party Girl" become one of the steady jams of the summer?
Also, according to Miss Info, "I heard an alternate version that will be coming out soon with a very special guest. (A guy who has seen more than his share of girls partying hardily)" Who could it be? Take a few guesses in the comment section. This track will be available on iTunes tomorrow!
The Naked & Famous - Young Blood (Tiesto & Hardwell Remix)[Preview]

Tiesto and Hardwell premiered their newest collaboration live about two months ago and today we got the official preview for their remix of The Naked & Famous' track "Young Blood" in the inbox and by the sounds of it, this one is going to be big. This is the first time these two have collaborated in some time, it's got a great progressive house feel with feel-good synths for days and big drops and bass. Check out the preview below and be on the lookout for the full release coming soon.
Philly Chase - White Noise x Nite Lights
Labels:

My man Meddafore aka Mr.LetEmKnow (click!) always brings us some of the talented new musicians that you may not have heard before. He introduced us to two of my favorite artists : Dave Patten and Justin Barron. Now he's put us on with a new talented rapper, Philly Chase. Chase began rapping in the streets of Philadelphia, PA at age 12 and was quickly noticed for his versatile cadences and innovative lyricism. Following in the footsteps of Jay-Z, Chase is heralded for his ability to recite hundreds of rhymes without pen or pad and record multiple songs in less than an hour. His ability to rap with ease over a beat is mesmerizing. Both "White Noise" and "Nite Lights" will have you're head bumpin'. Philly has impressed me so far, let's see what he can do next!

Labels:

Huey drops the visuals for his recently released, CJ Luzi produced track "About Us" off of his upcoming mixtape A Boy Named Hue. I was never really a big Huey fan, he was always a little too pop-ish for me but his last few singles have been really solid. Definitely looking forward to getting another full project out of him. Check out the video for "About Us" above and be on the lookout for A Boy Named Hue which drops on Monday. Download link is below.
Goyte - Somebody I Used To Know (WeSmile Bootleg)
Labels:

Huge new track courtesy of the guys over at Electronica Oasis. WeSmile puts their own spin on Goyte's "Somebody I Used To Know" and turns it into a progressive house banger. It takes about a minute to get going so be patient, when the synths and bass line drop in its unreal. Download it below.
Xylos - Summerlong
Labels:

Saw this one posted over at Pigsandplanes, its a sick summer anthem courtesy of Xylos, a band based out of Brooklyn. It's a perfect song for the nice weather that seems to be arriving, I've been getting a little more into indie stuff recently and this one definitely caught my attention. Stream and download it below.
Yonas – One More Time
Labels:
College Music,
Hip-Hop
We may be a little late on this one, but this couldn't be forgotten. Yonas has been making a name for himself flipping popular samples into hip-hop infused productions. Most notably, he re-created Foster The People's "Pumped Up Kicks" and M83's "Midnight City". This time he tries his hand at Daft Punks ever-so-popular "One More Time". The South Bronx rapper has a extremely smooth flow and provides catchy hooks. His delivery is up there with the best of the new MC's. This is the lead single off his upcoming project, "The Transition", due out in May.

Logic - Tic Tac Toe
Labels:

Dear God. Thats all I have to say. No one in the game has been as consistent as Logic in the past year. No one. Every single he's released has been absolutely unreal, I'm really looking forward to the release of Young Sinatra: Undeniable. It has to be one of my most highly anticipated projects of the year. On this new track Tic Tac Toe Logic absolutely kills it. He speeds up his flow a bit and delivers some crazy quick bars as well as a really smooth chorus. This is a MUST download, check it out below and enjoy.
St. Lucia – Closer Than This (Viceroy Remix)
Labels:
College Music,

Viceroy has been on the site before with his dope remix of B.I.G's "Going Back To Cali". He's back again with his rendition of St Lucia's "Closer Than This". Viceroy provides a perfect remix for the summer-time with an up-beat indie feel. If you can't relax and drink a few beers to this something is wrong with you. I feel like this song should have been in Cocktail with Tom Cruise when he's bar-tending in Jamaica.

Swedish House Mafia ft. Carly Rae Jepsen - Call Me Greyhound (Kap Slap Bootleg)
Labels:
Bootleg,
Electro / House
I've been singlehandedly the biggest "Call Me Maybe" hater since the release of that song. I refused to post any of the mashups of it, but even I have to admit it's catchy as hell. Does that mean it has to play 50 times at every party your at? Absolutely not. However, Kap Slap just released his newest track, a bootleg of SHM's "Greyhound" and that painstakingly catchy hit by Carly Rae Jepsen. The vocals over the "Greyhound" instrumental actually sound really good, and the fact that he didn't really use the original "Call Me Maybe" beat makes it much more bearable. Overall it's not bad but I think we can all agree it's time to get over "Call Me Maybe". Please?
OCD: Moosh & Twist Fuse Interview
Labels:

Just caught this interview that Moosh & Twist did with Fuse one Facebook, it gives you a little insight into the minds of the Philly rap duo. Check it out!
Jacob Es - Paranoia (Official Video)
Labels:
Hip-Hop,
Official Video
Jacob Es just released the official video for his track "Paranoia" off of his latest project The Road. Lyrically this may be Jacob's best track yet, he puts his own spin on the beat from Childish Gambino's "Heartbeat" and kills it. The video is brought to you by Charlie Like The River necklaces and was done by Ryan Sheetz. Check out the official video above and click the link below to download The Road in full.
Flo Rida - Whistle (Radio Rip)
We usually don't posts radio rips because it's just not as good as the full tagless version, but couldn't wait on this one. Flo-Rida, the official single killer, debuted this track on a Sydney Australia radio station and it's so dope. While Flo has been on a electro-pop tear, he kind of scales it back on "Whistle". There is obviously an electro back drop, but it doesn't over shadow the acoustic feel and catchy whistle melody. Another radio jam? Time will tell..

UPDATE: B.o.B - So Hard To Breathe x Ray Bands
Labels:
Alternative,
Hip-Hop
B.o.B never ceases to amaze me. While some of the first releases off of Strange Clouds have been straight hip-hop, the last two releases have taken a complete 180 degree turn. The other day he released "Both Of Us" with Taylor Swift, which was a country-rap mix. Last night he dropped "So Hard To Breathe", which is more of an alternative-hip-hop mix. It would be like Incubus and B.o.B teaming up for a track. He may hit every genre on this album. At this rate, it looks like B.o.B is going to release the whole album before the May 1st release date of his sophomore effort "Strange Clouds". This is on iTunes and Spotify.
And he's done it again. Not sure why B.o.B is releasing all these singles. This is pretty much the opposite of Watch The Throne. Now I expect to hear each track before May 1st. The newest release is entitled "Ray Bands" and features B.o.B's signature sound from back in the day. He could have got a little more creative with the chorus. Here is the stream:
Don't know if this will ever top by favorite "Ray Ban" influenced track: A-Trak featuring Cyhi Da Prynce "Ray Ban Vision", which is below if you live under a rock.

Maroon 5 ft. Wiz Khalifa - Payphone
Interesting collab that was released today. This is the first single off of Maroon 5's fourth album featuring the Wizzle man himself. Can't say I ever expected these two to work together but it's actually really sick. Obviously it's got more of a pop feel than most of the shit you've heard from Wiz, Rolling Papers wasn't even quite this poppy but this track will be all over the radio. Check it out in the youtube video above, no download link for it, I'd expect it to be on iTunes soon.

With the release of "Blow Up" and the recycled "I Hate College" hook in "Summertime", people were interested in hearing what else Sammy could do. With the release of "Only One", he definitely comes back to the hip-pop / party tracks he got famous for. You know you're big time when you're releasing VEVO videos...

Theophilus London ft. ASAP Rocky - Big Spender
Labels:
Hip-Hop
Jeremy Scott, Raf Simmons, Rick Owens, Tommy Hilfiger....Hip-Hop and high-end fashion have gone hand in hand the past couple of years. You all remember Kanye's twitter rant about starting his own fashion company "DONDA". The collaboration you're about to hear illustrates the new age of this expensive marriage.
Brooklyn bred MC Theophilus London is known to push the limits of style. He is referred to as a "Hipster", but Theo is way more than that though; he is a transformative trendsetter. He was even named the face of Tommy Hilfiger before he dropped a full-length album. Theo and Andre 3000 are the first people to come to mind when thinking of trendsetters in style.
Now enter rookie Harlem MC A$AP Rocky and the A$AP Crew. Rocky, "That Pretty Muthafucka", boasts about some of the most prestigious designers in his lyricism. Before inking his 3 million dollar record deal with RCA/Polo Grounds and becoming the fresh face of hip-hop, Rocky used to push weight so he could afford his favorite designer clothes. Now Rocky is on top of the world. He just headlined the last night of Coachella on the Gobi stage.
Teaming up with production newcomer DJ Carnage, A$AP and Theo trade verses over a tricked out Shirley Bassey sample. While one would expect this collabo to be flashy, it's simple and swagged out. Check it out below courtesy of illRoots.

Travi$ Scott – Animal (feat. T.I.)
Labels:
Hip-Hop
Remember the name Travi$ Scott. He's about to take over the hip-hop world by storm. Before we brought you his extremely dope tracks "Lights", "Analogue", and "That Bitch Crazy" . Since then the dude has been hard at work and making serious connections (Mr. Worldwide, Young Ari Gold, Man, Myth, Legend: Austin Beck-Hill is the man behind the scenes). He's been in the lab with Yeezy, T.I., and XXL Freshman Future, Travi$ is probably going to have a plethora of new material for his "Owl Pharaoh" project. Looks like he decided to premier one of those gems. "Animal" features none other than Tip himself and it is a jam. Although it starts off with a little different feel, Travi$ and T.I. both drop head-bumping verses. While there have been numerous comparisons to Kanye, Travi$ is creating his own path and sound. Don't doubt the comeback by T.I. either, he's ready to prove he's still one of the best MC's.

The Good Husbands - Rain Shine (Prod. Marshall Borden)
Labels:
Hip-Hop,
Official Video
The Good Husbands dropped this video for their new song "Rain Shine" a few days ago, and it is evidence as why I think their one of the top up-and-coming groups out there today. All three of them have such smooth flows and their beat selection is impeccable for their styles, on this one they sample "Fix You" by Coldplay. The production by Marshall Borden is super clean, all around its a hit. Check it out, no download link yet.
Frank Ocean - Whip Appeal (SBTRKT Edit)

SBTRKT just released this edit of Frank Ocean's latest track "Whip Appeal". They add their signature electronic sound to the original track. SBTRKT described it as, "just some beefed up production over an already dope track." Whatever it is it sounds pretty dope, check it out below.

Dell Harris - Believe Me feat. Megan Thomas [Prod. AC Slater & Xaphoon Jones]
Labels:
College Music,
Hip-Hop
Former Stags Flow contributor Nate Obey just sent me a track by Atlanta MC Dell Harris and I was instantly hooked. On "Believe Me", Dell rhymes over a AC Slater / Xaphoon Jones produced track with a mix of a Big Sean / Kid Cudi-esque flow. Dell's heavy-hitting lyricism meshes perfectly with the vocals of Megan Thomas. His rapid verses over dub-step laden beats provide for a new sound. Although other artists have tried this routine before, Dell is able to keep his indie-rap flair even though he is rapping over AC Slater electro production. This is the first time I've really heard of Dell, but I'm definitely impressed.
Recently he dropped his newest album, Right Now Volume II, a snapshot of late night parties, underground shows, one night stands, and long haul flights resting on top of AC Slater's dubstep and dance influenced heavy bass hip hop soundscapes. Volume II represents a new breed of forward thinking urban music. Check out the full album stream below. Click on the iTunes button if it tickles your fancy enough for a purchase.

Usher - Climax (Kaskade Remix)
Labels:
Electro / House,
Remix

I missed the drop of this the other day, out of nowhere Kaskade decided to release a dope house remix of Usher's originally Diplo-produced track "Climax". The original was a slower electro-soul track but Kaskade gives it a much more upbeat feel, with a driving bass and powerful drops. Kaskade production combined with Usher vocals can never be a bad thing, this is one you have to check out. Give it a listen and download it below.
The Two Friends - Solitaire (Original Mix) [Preview]
Labels:
Electro / House,
Preview
The Two Friends have flown under the radar for the past month or so but they've been hard at work, gearing up to release their most impressive music yet. They've begun to transition more into the EDM world and are getting ready to release their first original mix. The track features original vocals by Marcus Munoz and Katie Pearlman and it's sounding unreal. Really impressive for their first foray into original territory. Here's to hoping they decide to drop the full version of this one soon, for now you can preview it in the youtube video above. Enjoy.
David Guetta & Nicky Romero - Metropolis
Labels:
Electro / House

Huge new track from David Guetta and Nicky Romero titled "Metropolis". These two have collaborated several times but this is definitely one of their best yet. It's got everything you're looking for in a progressive house track:synth, driving bass and sick buildups as well. Check it out in the preview below and click the link on the player to buy it on beatport. This is the first release off of Jack Back Recordings which is Guetta's record label he just recently announced he was starting.
Knife Party - Fire Hive (Krewella F*ck On Me Remix)
