Shawn Chrystopher - IWG3 Mixtape

So I've been listening to Shawn Chrystopher for awhile now and have been waiting on him to drop some new music. He's one of those artists who I feel is immensely talented but has not gotten the looks he really deserves. 'IWG3' which is done with DJ Green Lantern, should continue his rise to becoming a recognizable talent in the hip-hop game. Definitely a mixtape you'll want to give a listen to.

Tayyib Ali - California Love MP3

So a little bit ago I hit you guys with the official video for "California Love" but didnt post the MP3 as Tayyib had not yet released it. Well that has changed, and I wanted to post it up here to make sure you all get your hands on this dope track. If you havent already, check it out and download it below!

Chris Webby - Contradictory To Grown Ups

Say what you will about Webby, but you cannot deny his talent. The dude just releases hit after hit, and this one is no different. On this new track called "Contradictory To Grown Ups" Webby goes in over the beat from "Opposite of Adults" by Chiddy Bang, which is a remix of "Kids" by MGMT. He hits you with the sick lyricism we've come to expect from him, and really kills it. Check it out and download it below!

Soulfully, Me and JF Mac - The Resurrection

Ian comes through once again with a brand spanking new Soulfully, Me release. I've been down with Soulfully, Me since day 1. Dude just has a fly delivery that is ready to be heard. His lyricism is always fresh to death. He's been releasing some new freestyle joints after his mixtape "Confessions of a College Kid" dropped. Soufully, Me teams up with a new artist to Stags Flow, JF Mac, over the timeless Lupe Fiasco beat "Failure". Both of them display differing styles on the track, but murder each of their verses. The two emcees display incredible chemistry together. Nas said "Hip Hop is dead?", well The Resurrection says other wise! This track is going to have you wanting more Soulfully, Me, so hit the search bar for our other posts about the rising star! My personal favorite track from him is "Brighter", so make sure you get that one!

Jigz - Kemba Walker (Prod. By Serious Beats) x Final Four (Prod. By Serious Beats)

So we first featured our homie Jigz with his smash remix of one of my all time favorite tracks "N 2gether Now". Well now he's back with some Final Four swag. As everyone from CT knows by now, Kemba Walker is an absolute beast. Well, Jigz just put together a little Kemba track with his highlights to go with it. When the Final Four was named, Jigz decided to do a banger remix giving ode to the four teams representin'.

John Legend - Rolling In The Deep Feat. Kenton Dunson (Kenton Dunson Remix)

Got a new artist to Stags Flow today courtesy of Jess Johnson. John Legend released his cover of Adele's Rolling In The Deep and I thought it was fly an all, but nothing can top the original. Until I heard this extremely fly creation. Kenton Dunson just released this amazing remix of John Legend’s cover of Adele’s “Rolling In The Deep”. He created the instrumental entirely from scratch and also threw a couple verses on it, instantly creating a mix of hip-hop and soul, and I'm lovin' it. I'll let Kenton let you describe how it went down:

"When I heard John released this acappella of an awesome song by a great artist, I took that acappella and went to my piano, kick drum and bottle of whiskey...this happened." - Kenton Dunson

Kenton Dunson became proactive on his music career in early 2010 when he resigned from his position at an investment firm to embark on the journey of an artist. People continue to find it difficult to put him in a box because of his talents which include self-production, vocals, lyricism and intense attack on in multiple instruments. The Maryland native has played in bands of multiple-genres over the years but took the chance to go solo and has since found a very receptive global base of listeners through online support and live performances. Kenton is currently working on his third project, but in the meantime has taken interest in remixing popular songs that lend themselves to his creative style.

XV - Foreign Exchange Student (Feat. Miami Horror)

Vizzy does it again. I've become a huge fan of XV, I think he's one of the most talented new rappers out there. He has a ton a swagger and displays a great deal of versaility. "Foreign Exchange Student" proves his case. XV takes Australian elctro-pop group Maimi Horror's banger "Holidays"and turns it into a hip-hop banger. Dropping dope line after line, XV creates a Must Have with this one!

Drew32 feat. Royce da 5'9" - Spazz Out

Drew32 is back with a bang. He just sent me over the visuals and the track to his freshly released track "Spazz Out" featuring none other than Royce da 5'9". This is an absolute banger of a track. Presented by DJ J Cash, "Spazz Out" is a fire track. Drew32 unleashes some dope verses, as well as a smooth hook. You can always expect fire lyricism from the rising rapper. "Got em going haywire, because I'm only getting paid in days that end in a-y" Damn... Royce comes in an delivers a monster verse. For all you hip-hop heads out there this is a track you'll want to have!

Introducing J Woods

Seems like Kentucky is holdin' it down from a new artist standpoint. Stags Flow favorite IanJ is from the area and now I'm introducing you guys to a new name in the music scene, J Woods. I've got to give a thank you to Nora and Nick over at Wiche Entertainments for the hook up! J Woods brings something different to the table. He provides the ability to go hard on a track, but also the talent to switch it up, flowing smoothly over laid back beats.

J Woods is an upcoming rapper from Lousiville, Kentucky. J Woods started rappin' when he was in the 9th grade. He was freestylin and playin around through the middle school days. It started out as him wanting to be a producer, but as time went on, he kept producing but he realized that he loved to write lyrics and rap. So he started taking rapping seriously and he built his own studio.

Here are a few of my favorite tracks off his recently released mixtape, "'Sleeping In The Clouds' The Mixtape", which you can download off DatPiff here : J Woods Mixtape on DatPiff .

Absolutely lovin' "What Friends are For". Very laid back, deep track from J Woods over an awesome sample! Check out the tracks and links below to stay updated!

Don Johnson - Pretty Girls (Wale.Gucci Mane.Too $hort)

I know, I know, we haven't updated Mash Up Monday in a minute, but don't worry got a dope exclusive mash up for you guys today. My homie Don Johnson dropped off a new track the other day and I'm getting around to posting it now. Mash ups are not all about creating banger party tracks. Sometimes you need an ill track to have on repeat while your doing homework or kickin' it. That's what Don Johnson brings to the table today. The track is entitled "Pretty Girls" and he brings together Wale, Gucci, and Too $hort together on a real laid back beat. This is a perfect track to enjoy on this sunny day in Fairfield.

Lupe Fiasco - Who Are You Now ft. B.o.B.

You're going to tell me that a Lupe Bobby Ray collaboration didn't make it to Lasers. Too sad.. But don't fret, I've got it for you guys here. This is a real dope laid back track. Lupe and B.o.B both display their signature flows creating a must have track to when you're chillen'!

Samantha Marq - I Like To Party (Feat. Dev) (Prod. By The Cataracs)

Love it when The Cataracs put out some new stuff. This is an absolute must have track for the females. I think you guys will enjoy this one to party too. Samantha Marq kills it. I mean the title says enough. I've also included "Top Of The World (Prod. By The Cataracs) " which I was late on. Both feature one of the most lovely sounding females in the music industry, Dev. Check them both out below!

Quincy Kwalae - Torn Up (Roll Up Remix)

So there has been obvious buzz building about Wiz Khalifa and his debut album "Rolling Papers". Well, today I've got a little something different for you courtesy of I Tweet Good Songs introducing Stags Flow to Quincy Kwalae and his remix of Roll Up entitled "Torn Up".On "Turn Up", he recreates the banger from Wiz Khalifa, but provides his own swagger. He lays down two sick verses and an alternative chorus that takes the track from love song to college, feel good, drinking/smoking anthem. I couldn't be more impressed with Quincy. He's got a real smooth flow and some witty lyricism, while delivering a distinct sound while sounding very professionally produced. I'm definitely looking forward to posting more from the rising rapper representin' the University of Wisconsin. Here is more info about Quincy Kwalae and check out the track below!

Quincy Kwalae is an incredibly talented 22 yr. old rapper/producer/singer raised in the college town of IU - Bloomington Indiana. Currently attending the University of Wisconsin, he has gained a lot of online attention for his old group Zooniversity racking up nearly 2,000,000 youtube views for their music. Quincy is now focusing more on his solo act by either remixing popular songs, rapping over the newest beats, or making his own music from scratch. The most impressive thing about this artist is that he writes, records, mixes and masters all of his own material.

Bankie Travolta - Charged With Arson x Video of Freemix

We first featured Bankie Travolta back in December and it's been a minute since I've been able to hear some new tracks from the rising rapper. Bankie Travolta is an artist/rapper from Cleveland, Ohio who has already started to gain a fast growing fan base with his "anything goes" style of recording commonly referred to as "Modern day Hippie" music. If your a hip-hop head like myself, you'll definitely enjoy Bankie Travolta. On his most recent track "Charged With Arson", Bankie drops an extremely dope track featuring some ill rhymes and punchlines. Another thing that impresses me about Bankie is his ability to spit straight off the dome. On the video above, Bankie absolutely kills "Devil in a New Dress" and "Numbers", as well as featuring a hilarious freestyle and dancing skills from Cleveland local Skinny. Bankie Travolta is definitely an artist to look out for in 2011. He's got a serious swagger about him, as well as being one of the most talented rappers to come out of Cleveland.

Fese & Dave Patten - Habull Kingdom

So my homie Meddafore (Mr Let Em Know) comes through in the clutch once again. I told him I had been feigning for some new Dave Patten, but I was able to get more than I asked for, some new Fese. Fese is not a new name in the game or on Stags Flow. He was featured on Dave's most recent able "Exposure" and he kills it on Oh No, Crazy and Won't Give Up. Fese is a Philly rapper, who's also spent a lot of time in Atlanta. His mixtape, The Great HamBino, was released today. Well now Fese is getting a feature from Dave Patten for his most recent track "Habull Kingdom", which helps serve as introduction to Fese; his story, his hustle, his grind and his team. Don't be discouraged by the slow start of this track because it's an absolute banger. Produced by Qwon Don, who gives us a throwback sounding beat. Fese drops some serious bars that you can bump your head to. Dave takes over on the hook and drops a bridge towards the end of the track with his signature awesome sound, as well as amazing vocals. This dynamic duo strikes banger status once again with "Habull Kingdom" and look out for more to come. Check out the links below to stay updated, as well as downloading the track!

Gate City Squad - That Body

Here we have a new banger from Gate City Squad. For this one they remixed the classic hit "Stand By Me" and they really kill it in every aspect of this song. From the production, to the rhymes, and lead vocals, MattyFee and Dano really went all out on this one. I'm going to go ahead and say this one is a MUST download. Check it out, and hit the download link below!

Mac Miller - Child Celebrity

I dont know about you guys, but in my mind you can never go wrong with a new Mac track. This one, called "Child Celebrity" is all about Mac's life in the limelight, and is yet another dope track released by Mac this month. Check it out below and be on the lookout for his new EP "On & On and Beyond" coming out tomorrow! On a side note, that has to be my favorite picture ever to use for a Mac Miller post. Classic.

Windoview - Pine Island Album

We've got a real treat for you loyal readers today, the homie Meddafore from Meddafore.blogspot.com emailed us yesterday and told us to check out this new acoustic group out of philly called Windoview. To be honest, I wasnt expecting much out of this trio of 17 year olds from the suburbs of philly, but I was definitely pleasantly surprised. Obviously just based on Windoview's laid back acoustic sound people are going to be comparing them to Jason Mraz and Jack Johnson, but these kids really do put their own style into their music and make it their own. This is definitely different from anything we normally post on here, but real sick nonetheless. Check out a couple highlights of the album below, and support windoview by buying the whole album on Itunes!

Justice - Civilization

After an all too long wait without Justice releasing anything, we finally have some new music on the way. This is just a ripped version of 'Civilization' which debuted on an Adidas commercial, the actually single will be released on April 4th. God damn there is some crazy shit being dropped in April, it's going to be a great month. Anyway the quality is pretty good and the song is exactly what you would be expecting from Justice, be on the look out for the mp3 in the near future.

Childish Gambino - The Longest Text Message

You can never go wrong with a new Childish Gambino track, he has really been impressing me a lot over the last few months. "The Longest Text Message" is yet another sick track that Gambino has released this year, the lyricism in this one is definitely on point. Not sure where the beat on this one came from, but its so dope as well. Check out "The Longestt Text Message" below and let us know what you think!

Swedish House Mafia - Save The World The Masquerade Motel One Night Stand Footage

God I wish I went to Miami for Ultra weekend.... I've been told that SHM actually performed this set at the Masquerade Motel, not technically being part of Ultra. This song is going to be an instant hit and possibly the jam of the summer. Sweedish House Mafia does it again with a dope new single! Will have the mp3 as soon as possible, but enjoy the footage of this. The boys know how to put on a show! Vocals courtesy of fellow Swede John Martin. Anyone else feel that has sort of a Kings Of Leon "Use Somebody" electro feel? Well Enjoy!

That Kid C-G - Where'd You Go (Remix)

Here we have a sick remix from That Kid C-G, Heres what C-G himself had to say about this track, specifically about what he says about some of the big names in rap:

This is really how i feel about the rappers i named right now, because its sad that they all changed, and i feel they did me as a fan, dirty. Im not throwing dirt on their names, or dissing them, im simply speaking truthfully and most importantly speaking my opinion, and that is what Hip-Hops about, expression… I Know alot of blogs probably wont post the song, because i mentioned a rapper they fuck with, but that would just solidify them being a dick-riding groupie ass hoe… and that my friend is not swelly.

B.o.B - No Future

So it seems that after Tyler the Creator called Bobby Ray a "faggot" in his song "Yonkers" B.o.B was none too happy about it. Then comes this track from B.o.B entitled "No Future" that is most likely a response to Tyler. B.o.B kills it on this track, even Tyler the Creator himself said he thought it was a tight song. Check it out below, and let us know what you think about this beef between the two rappers.

CunninLynguists - Oneirology

CunninLynguists are a hip hop trio from Lexington, Kentucky and Atlanta, Georgia. The group currently consists of Deacon the Villain, Kno, and Natti. The name is a portmanteau of the words cunning and linguist, and is also a play on the word cunnilingus. This is the group's first album since their 2007 release 'Dirty Acres'. This album
absolutely crushes it, it's a style of hip-hop that you don't hear very often anymore. 'Oneirology' is one of my favorite albums I have heard this year. If you don't have it you should absolutely purchase this off of their bandcamp.

Introducing Futuristic

So I just finished a post about CMG, the dope new group who dropped "Beach Cruisin". A member of the group that definitely stood out to me was Zach Beck aka Futuristic, who drops a dope verse on the track. Futuristic sent me over a few other tracks of his and I was blown away. Couldn't believe I missed someone with so much talent as a new rapper. His lyricism and delivery on tracks couldn't be more on point. Dude has so much swagger. He's got the versatility to go hard on one track ("Money") and then slow it done in a story telling manner on another ("Know My Name") On "Who Dat", he absolutely murders the track that J. Cole went over. In my opinion he might have killed it better than J. Cole. He's got punchlines for dayysss. I've had his tracks on constant repeat because they are straight bangers. He's a new rapper that you all should get to know. I'm excited to have Futuristic as an affiliated artist on the site and be sure to check back for more to come. Below is a little more information on Futuristic, as well as links to stay up on the rising rapper reppin' Arizona.

Growing up around music, it was inevitable that Futuristic would follow the path of his elders. Father Joe Beck was constantly consumed with his drumming skills, leading bands and competing in national drumming competitions while still running his greatly respected local DJ service. Future’s brothers Jason, Joseph, and Brandon are also musicians and participate in a wide variety of genres including Heavy Metal, Acoustic Guitar, Hip-Hop, Production, and Engineering. The youngest of this bunch of talented artists, Futuristic moved away from his family in Illinois and began to create a buzz of his own in Arizona opening up for acts such as Willy Northpole and Sean Kingston. His feature on James Wades highly anticipated mixtape “Popular Stranger” received over 60,000 downloads in two weeks. Accumulating fans across the country, Futuristic unloads an array of lyrical genius on his first major album named after his trademark phrase “I Had To Do It". Over the last 5 months he has shot 5 official music videos, been featured on various blogs and Hip-Hip sites around the country, and teamed up with 13 of the most respected artists from Illinois, Ohio, and Arizona to form his upcoming album "Many Men...One Future"

CMG - Beach Cruisin' Official Video

Today I've got a little something different for you guys today. Just got hit up by up and coming rapper Futuristic about the group CMG and I was more than impressed. "Beach Cruisin'" is a perfect laid back combination of dope rhymes and smooth R&B vocals. The 4 artists come together perfectly on the track. I'll be honest I wouldn't be surprised if this was playing on the radio. The flows from ERA and Futuristic are on point, as well as the radio ready vocals from ViceVersa. This is straight feel good music right here.

I've also got to give it up to Jakob Owens for the production on this video. The cinematography matches the flow of the track perfectly. Here is a little background about CMG:

CMG consists of 4 artists all based out of Arizona. They show off all of their musical skills on one very smooth and catchy song released as their first single "Beach Cruisin". First to go is Rapper ERA, Cousin of NFL star Terrell Suggs. Although he is the least experienced of the group he tends to wear his heart on his sleeve unleashing lyrics about his childhood struggles and hard times. ViceVersa is the extremely talented singing duo responsible for the whole concept of the song. At age 21 and 18 ViceVersa signed under KingPen Publishing as songwriters. Their vocals mix exceptionally well with Futuristics rapping capabilities. Futuristic has been rapping since the age of 8 and opened up for various artists in the industry such as Sean Kingston and Petey Pablo. Together CMG is planning to take over the country as a label by creating great creative music combined with a commercial sound..

I've included the mp3 for "Beach Cruisin" below, as well as two tracks from ViceVersa, with one featuring Futuristic. Check them all out!
