Big K.R.I.T. - Dreamin

New Big K.R.I.T.! Heres what K.R.I.T. himself had to say about this track:

This is the 1st leak of my new Album “Returnof4eva” (artwork by Eric Bailey) The song is called “Dreamin” I produced the beat as well. I feel this is a perfect representation of my music at this exact moment in time bc it could have gone either way for me. This was all a dream a year ago. Now i am living out my dreams everyday. This is a personal & special record to me & i hope it inspires you to follow your dreams like i did. Motion Family shot the video for this yesterday, Thats coming soon. In the meantime u can get the song & all updates from me at Returnof4eva.com.

Lupe Fiasco - Oh Yeah! (ft. Diggy Simmons & Pharell) X Don't Look Down (ft. Kanye West, Mos Def & Big Sean)

Cant go wrong with a new Lupe track let alone two! Here we have "Oh Yeah!" with Diggy, and Pharell which is an absolute banger. With a beat like that and Lupe, Diggy, and Pharell you know its going to be a sick song. The second track called "Don't Look Down" is definitely more laid back than "Oh Yeah!", but Kanye, Mos Def, Big Sean, and the man himself Lupe more than hold it down. Check out the tracks, and download them below! Enjoy!

The Art Of Rap Movie Trailer

Here we have the trailer for Ice T's new film called "The Art Of Rap". This is a film about where rap as we know it all started, and focuses in on New York City. In the trailer alone you'll see legends like Raekwon, Immortal Technique, and Big Daddy Kane. Check it out, the film is scheduled to be released sometime in the Fall of 2011.

Introducing Jody Duff

I am really excited today to introduce you guys to Jody Duff. Jody's manager Jimmy hit us up the other day with three of his tracks and I have to say I'm really feeling them. Jody Duff is a new up and coming artist from Chicago, He is only 16 years of age, but delivers with a strong flow and killer beats.

Below you can check out three tracks, "Chosen One", "Grind" and "Jam '94" that really show off Jody's versatility. He's got a Big Sean type flow, and can really go in over any kind of beat. Download those songs below and be on the look out for his new mixtape "What The Duff" releasing June 5th! Stay Tuned!

Wiz Khalifa - Young, Wild N Free Ft. Snoop Dogg

You guys think these two smoke? Nah me neither. Here we have a sick new song from Wiz, and Snoop. Definitely a slower relaxing song, I'm not sure who's on the hook but they kind of sound like Bruno Mars. Check out the silky smooth flow from both Wiz and Snoop below.

Meek Mill - I Don't Care What U Call Me Ft. Mel Love

New song from Meek Mill featuring Mel Love. On this one the two rappers go in over the beat from "Thats All She Wrote" by T.I. and Eminem. Anybody who has doubted Meek's skills will be eating their words after they hear this song. His flow works perfectly with this beat, and really gives him a chance to show off his lyricism, which is dope as well. This ones a must download, check it out below!

J. Cole - Nothing Like It

Just another track where J. Cole goes off. No news on when his Album is going to drop, definitely going to be one of the best of 2011. Anyway this track has a pretty soulful sample with some horns and meshes with Cole's voice perfectly. Going to want to give this a download fo sho.

e-dubble - Written Thursdays Mixtape

New mixtape here from e-dubble, the guy who brought you a ridiculous number of freestyle fridays. E-dubble is on another level with his music, the production and lyrics are always fresh, and he just goes hard track after track. Hope you guys like it, I know I've never come across an e-dubble song I didn't like. Check out two of my personal favorite songs from this tape, "Tired" and "Night Table", and download the full Written Thursdays Mixtape below!

Chuck Revere - True To Myself (Prod. by Jon Kilmer)

New drop from Chuck Revere! On this track Chuck showcases his witty lyricism over a sick chill beat produced by Jon Kilmer. Solid track from the up and comer out of Quinnipiac University. Check it out below!

OCD: Moosh & Twist- Black Forest Gummie Worms

What's up guys just want to introduce myself first off as this is my first post to the site. My names Matt Deane, I'm a sophomore here at fairfield. I'm really excited to start writing for Stagsflow, and hopefully you guys like my contributions. Lately I've been really into a lot of hip-hop and dubstep, so hopefully I can bring something new to the team here. Enough with the introduction, now to the track. This is just another all around banger from Moosh and Twist, the duo out of Philly. Lyrically its on point, and the beat, produced by DK, is too sick. Look out for their new mixtape, "Up Before The World", dropping march 7. Thanks to GMAD for the post.

Goone - Erica (Prod. by AK)

So Stags Flow was one of the lucky websites to sponsor Goone's mixtape "Grapfruit Starship", which actually hit 1,000 downloads today on DatPiff, so biggg ups to my homie Goone. From the first time I've met Goone he is one of the realest dudes in the game. Not only is he a genuinely nice guy from talking to him, but he's always lookin' out for Stags Flow. For those of you who downloaded "Grapefruit Starship", you'll recognize the song "Erica", but for those who haven't check it out. I'll personally say I think this is one of my favorite tracks off the mixtape. Goone has show his talents creating straight hip-hop and party tracks, but "Erica" is more than that. This track is deep and displays Goone's talents as a story-teller. This is real song that isn't one you'd neccesrily play at a party, but listen to the lyrics "Erica" will definitely hit home.

Goone has also told me that he's shooting a video for “Hypnotized” this weekend with a director who has worked with Nelly, Murphy Lee and Yo Gotti. It's going to be his first music video and I'm definitely pumped for the release in about a month.

If you missed "Grapefruit Starship" download it below as well as the single "Erica"

Pitbull - Give Me Everything (Tonight) (Feat. Nayer & Ne-Yo) [Produced by Afrojack]

So I guess the Ne-Yo solo version of this track that I posted. was just a demo for Pitbull. I'll let you guys decide, but personally I think the Ne-Yo version is better. I think his vocals flow so much smoother of the Afrojack production. Nonetheless, Pitbull adds an uptempo party bumpin' track perfect for your Thursday night drinking session. He just makes radio party hits. So enjoy. I've re-posted the Ne-Yo solo version as well!

The Cool Kids - Bundle Up

There's nothing like a new Cool Kids track. For all you real hip-hop heads out there, The Cool Kids represent everything missing from rap. This is simple beat, but turn the bass up because it goes hard. Mickey Rocks and Chuck consider themselves "the new black version of the Beastie Boys". This track goes so hardd.

Eminem - Things Get Worse Feat. B.o.B

Eminem needs to get some happiness in his life.... The dude is always rapping about some depressing stuff hah. Regardless, this is a dope track. I'm a huge fan of B.o.B, I think he's one of the most versatile artists in the game right now. He displays his rapping talents on "Things Get Worse". Check it out below!

XV - Finally Home feat Machine Gun Kelly (Prod. by Cook Classics)

T-Pain - I'm Dancin Feat. Flo Rida

New Teddy Pain. Oh you know I'm dropping it for you. Am I the only one that thinks everytime Flo Rida gets on a track it's always a party banger? Well this one is for suree! This is another release off T-Pain's upcoming album "Revolver"

StagStock 2011 Concert Presented by FUSA & IRHA with Stagsflow & The Mirror

Well today is a day I am very excited for. Since I started Stags Flow, I wanted to help bring a concert to Fairfield University that would be an awesome college show. My goal when I started Stags Flow was to bring good new music to Fairfield University. Well not only did that expand past Fairfield U, but people began to like the new college artists I was promoting. What better way to promote good music, then to have a concert featuring four of the rising names in the Music Industry. The concerts that FU has had before have been awesome, no doubt, but I felt that they were missing out on the rising College Music Movement going on as we speak. Well with the help of FUSA & IRHA, this concert is coming true!

StagStock2011 Concert will be on Friday, April 15th at Alumni Hall, which will be kickoff IRHA’s Spring Weekend. This co-sponsored event will feature headline artist Sam Adams and up-and-coming artists Collin McLoughlin, Timeflies, and Trey Palms.

Tickets go on sale Wednesday, March 9th and will be selling for $20 at the Info Desk. There will be no public ticket sales for this concert; this concert is for Fairfield University on its Spring Weekend and as such will be for Fairfield University students only. 2 tickets can be purchased per StagCard.

From the start of Stags Flow Collin, Timeflies, and Trey have been some of the first few artists I have promoted. I have been lucky because they answered my intro e-mail and began sending me their music every time it dropped. For that I am more than grateful.  I know they are three of the dopest new artists in the game and combining Collin, Timeflies, Trey Palms, and Sam Adams on one stage could definitely be on the flyest concerts at any college right now. They each display a different side of the rising College Music Movement spreading across colleges as we speak. So Fairfield, get ready for StagStock 2011, because this is going to be a concert to remember.

BrunoJackson - Name On It

I've been feigning for a new BrunoJackson song for a while now. They have been huge on the site since it's beginning and I have had the pleasure of featuring many of their tracks. They have provided dope hip-hop sounding tracks, as well as my new favorite dirty holiday song "Season To Be Naughty". "Name On It" reminds me a lot of "Cocono Dro", in the aspect that it's a dope hip-hop sounding flow with a laid back sound. This song is perfect for every snow filled area right now, because it will bring you back to the good times of summer with this beat. I've been a huge fan of BrunoJackson's flow. I think not only are they dope lyrically, providing sick punchlines, but their delivery flows so well over any genre of beat. For those of you guys that don't know: The name BrunoJackson originates from the two members in the group. Bryce Humphrey (Bruno), and Jackson Breit. Bryce, 20 years old, and Jackson Breit, 19, were both born and raised in Virginia Beach, Virginia. This is a mixtape track, and Jackson has assured me that more BrunoJackson is on its way! Enjoy the track, because this one I could see rising in my iTunes Top 25.

Timeflies Live Freestyling Video!

So the homie Jared, manager for Timeflies, just sent me over this extremely dope video of Timeflies at their concert at The Middle East in Beantown. Cal is shown freestyling over an awesome production by Rob. Res created a nice little piece of work sampling Wild Cherry's "Play That Funky Music". When Cal freestyles you know it's going to be a nice end result because his rhymes are more then fresh. I've said it before but be on the look out for more production by Rob Resnick because he is a beast. Who knows maybe Timeflies could be coming to a college near you? Looks like we'll just have to wait and see. Had to throw this picture up too haha. For now, enjoy this dope video!

Lauren Vogel - Lonely Heart (Prod. DJ O)

Our female featured artist, Lauren Vogel, is back with an awesome jam. "Lonely Heart" shows a completely different sound from LV. She not only displays her unreal vocals, but her songwriting is on point her. This track is deep, but uplifting at the same time. DJ O creates an awesome beat here. With the combination of Lauren's singing and DJ O's production, I believe this could be on the radio tomorrow! I think the ladies that read Stags Flow are going to love this one. I've said this many times, but I think Lauren is one of the best new female artists. Vocally, she can compete with any female in the music business and I am more than happy to have her as our featured female artist. Go ahead an like her Facebook Fan Page below and download the track!

A Cool Stick - Do It Yourself

Okay, okay Chatbox I'm sorry this has been a long time coming, but it's finally here. A Cool Stick is group that has been stolen from the 90's and placed here today. Smooth old school sounds and flow that is very similar to my homie KAM Royal. Below are few of my favorite tracks from the mixtape, as well as a link to the full mixtape!

Do It Yourself is the next mix-tape from A Cool Stick, coming at you on everyone’s favorite, most anticipated holiday, Groundhog’s Day! The mix-tape takes instrumentals from classic Hip-Hop producers like Pete Rock, J. Dilla, Ski Beatz, MF Doom and many others and teams up with relentlessly witty lines from MC Luke O’Brien. The A Cool Stick team set out to put out a tape with a gritty, unpredictable, and home-made feel. With a studio album in the works and set to drop in the spring, DIY will give you some dope flows to hold you over.

A Cool Stick is a Baltimore based Hip-hop band that combines live instruments with intelligent lyrics. Their creativity and work ethic has warranted the group much success and recognition including opening slots for Drake, Sam Adams, Big Sean, and Citizen Cope, as well as recent recognition as “Baltimore’s Best Hip-Hop Act” by the Baltimore City Paper.

Front man and lyricist Luke O’Brien leads A Cool Stick, possessing a stage presence and energy that becomes more infectious as the crowds grow. Behind Luke are three musicians whose chemistry and bond has developed exponentially since the bands birth in 2009. With Brendan “Fuzz” Floyd on bass, Brian Aranda on drums, and Sean McKeon on guitar, the band puts together an innovative, high-energy live performance that pushes the boundaries of Hip-Hop.

Through music, A Cool Stick hopes to send a feel-good, positive message to their fans. In a genre that focuses more on material possessions and cliché hooks than musical creativity and talent, ACS serves to be the breath of fresh air that Hip-Hop has been searching for.

Javelin - Tryouts (Brenton Duvall Remix with Childish Gambino)

One of my favorite producers and rappers teaming up for this track is awesome. Saw their exchange on twitter unfold a bit but had no idea it was going to come out this quickly. Brenton Duvall has just been straight killing every jam he has released recently, and I am shitting my pants in anticipation for Childish Gambino's (Donald Glover) upcoming EP. Anyway this takes a pretty bland instrumental and just remixes it into its own stylin' identity. Definitely a track you are going to want to get on.

Javelin - Tryouts (Brenton Duvall Remix with Childish Gambino)

Cris Cab - Black & Yellow (Wiz Khalifa cover)

I was completely done with Black & Yellow remixes until my man Mike showed me this. Cris Cab, the 17-year old Miami native, gives Black & Yellow a completely different feel. More mellow and with a reggae induced feel, this is pure dopeness. Cris Cab has a smooth swagger and has even gotten the attention of the super producer, Pharrell. Cris Cab is definitely an artist you are going to want to get on your game about. Future star in the game!

Josh Cocktail - Are You Ready feat. Mike Stud (Prod. by Rekstarr Productions) x Josh Cocktail, Loggy, and Big Red

Josh and Mike let me know that the "Are You Ready" track I leaked a few days ago wasn't completely finished and sent me over the mastered version, so I have added that below. I also have a special treat for you guys. Josh teamed up with Loggy and Big Red in the studio the other day in NYC. They are collaborating on a jam, but Loggy uploaded a video of an acoustic version of "Be Ready". So dope. Josh Cocktail is a name you need to know!
