Shout to HYPETRAK for the drop. The Spanish producers/DJs that make up the trio of Cookin’ Soul, recently released their newest mixtape, “The Date Tape”, which has up and coming rapper Chuuwee featured on the tape. Cookin' Soul always brings something sick to the table. My favorite work by them was their Tribute to Michael Jackson mixtape, which I recommend to everyone because it's that dope. I definitely am feeling Chuuwee's flow on this old school flavored track, thanks to the sounds of Mayer Hawthorne, and look forward to hearing more stuff as he releases it. Enjoy!

Tim from New Linen just sent me over their new track and I am definitely feeling it. New Linen has provided us with different types of songs, from laid back chill tracks to party bangers. I think "Light Up" is a little bit of both. Has that smooth laid back sound, but also that party kick to it. I’ll be honest; Rob is on another level with some of these beats he has been churning out. “Lose My Mind” is the most downloaded track off the site so far, and “Teenage Dream” he hits another gear. Using a sample of the Katy Perry track by the same name, he creates a beat that is pure dopeness. Cal has impressed me lyrically with every verse I hear by him. “Feeling like a veteran, because I never forget Iraq, like yours”. He keeps delivering precise punch lines that don’t overshadow the song or even seem like he’s trying at all, it just flows. LOGGY, your favorite athlete rapper, drops a smooth verse that complements Cal perfectly. I think LOGGY’s delivery is just one you can always kick back too. So Asher & Nottz have finally dropped their highly anticipated EP "RAWTH". Here are my two favorite tracks off the mixtape. Asher is back to his old school original sound that got him into the spot. Nottz kills it  as a producer, but also a rapper. This is definitely a dynamic duo that could rival Batman & Robin. They complement each other perfectly. The first track "Run It Back (Remix)" features a dope verse from Kardinal Offishall. "Coming and Going" is an old school sound that brings you back to the days of real hip-hop. So we are officially introducing Lauren Vogel, our first female featured artist. Through our connection with Goone, Lauren found out about Stags Flow and she sent me her track "Body Work". I'll tell you right now I was blown away and couldn't be more excited to feature Lauren. Lauren has some of the best vocals from a fresh new female artist that I have heard in a while. Her sound / style is a mix between CASCADA / Katy Perry, two of my favorite female artists. Lauren drops electro / pop bangers that appeal to any college student, male or female. Definitely got to give DJ O some props for an unreal beat, as well as Brice Fox for a dope verse. We'll let Lauren introduce herself here :


"I am a senior at Indiana University looking to pursue music when I graduate. What makes me unique? I have been singing all my life, like many others, but my passion for music has caused me to prioritize it before school at times and most other things in my life. I am a business major but spend most of my time writing or in the studio. I don't know many aspiring female artists making the kind of music I'm making right now. Most of my tracks are pop/electro/dance tracks, some being very mainstream/radio material & others being a new mixture of styles that really appeal to college students. What inspires me?...everything really. Every person has a story. Sometimes I like to put myself in the shoes of others and write a story from their perspective and sometimes I am telling a personal story. Sometimes it is not a story at all, but an expression of emotions that cannot be done in words. Artists that have inspired me are Madonna, Michael Jackson, Lady Gaga, Christina Aguilera & Katy Perry. Well Lauren is absolutely killing it with this track and I look forward to posting her stuff in the future, because she's got the talent to make it in today's music industry. This is a straight banger from Goone, as he drops punchline after punchline. What I love about this track is who Goone teamed up with. I don't know much about Titus, but what I do know is that he complements the track perfectly. Adding that Chris Brown / Jay Sean sound to Goone's hip-hop feel, makes this track worth the download.
