Introducing KAM Royal

KAM Royal is a 19-year old rapper from DC. Currently a sophomore at Tulane University KAM's been working since August on his 20 track debut mix tape, Business As Usual, which will be out November 13. The few songs released from the mix tape have been very well received online earning KAM placement on many blogs while racking up tens of thousands of youtube plays. KAM recently opened for artists including BIG Sean and Mac Miller and has more shows coming up.

KAM has been rapping forever. His biggest influences are J. Cole and Drake. When KAM got to college his boy Ben pushed him to get more serious with rapping. Now he is in full stride, dropping some heat. In August, KAM started working on his mixtape, which is set to drop November 13th. 

KAM represents what we are trying to promote here at Stags Flow. The kid is a dope lyricist, has sick beats, and his flow / delivery is definitely one you'll want to keep listening to. He is definitely going to be one to watch out for in the near future because the kid is impressive. His tracks range from party anthems to just flowing on a beat. Here are a few tracks to hold you over 'till the mixtape drops. Enjoy!

I think this has gotta be one of the cooler pairs that are releasing in the near future... Its the Air Jordan Retro 1 "Banned" edition... For those of you that don't know, Jordan wore his first ever Red/Black Air Jordan 1's in 1985 and the NBA banned them saying that they didn't match the on court dress code, Jordan was fined $5,000 each game that he wore the shoes which Nike happily paid, game after game... This release features a retroed Air Jordan 1 with the same color way as the banned shoe but on the heel is a large red "X" representing the "Banned" logo... On the hotness scale, these things are hot to very hot... Check out the pics and the video...

Here is the newest track, All Night, from Timeflies (Cal and Rob Resnick).  We have featured Cal and Rob before with their jam , "Fade". This track has a different feel. Rob creates a creative and unique beat. The beat goes perfectly with Cal's vocals. The only way to describe Cal on the vocals is smooth. He just flows on the track and has a dope delivery. He is witty with his rhymes, just listen to the lyrics. Be on the lookout for new stuff from this duo out of Boston every week or two moving forward. I've been assured that even though they have a laid-back, smooth sound right now, this duo is going to move into party music soon enough. This is easily going to be played on repeat on my iPod! So Fairfield grad Mike Ambrosio hit me with this absolutely unreal power hour playlist today. This playlist is perfect for your guys' drinking tonight. Combining some of the best electro/techno jams, Electronica Oasis makes a power hour playlist one you guys are going to want to use for the rest of the year. Check it out below!

Electronica Oasis was started a few months ago and we have seen unreal growth, much similar to that of Stags Flow. There are currently five members, two of which, graduated from Fairfield (Mike Ambrosio ’08 and Serik Slobodskoy ’08). As for the Power Hour, we all decided to take some of the best jams in the house scene and compile a playlist, so that you and your friends can get loose while listening to the freshest beats in the game. The end result? We took 60 minutes, found 60 songs, so you can rip 60 shots. Enjoy the power hour and be sure to check out EO for future volumes.
