How To Make It In America on HBO. has become one of my favorite shows after their first season. It is great to hear that it was picked up for a second season. The show is about two guys from NYC trying to make it in the fashion business. Story of grinding and trying to make a name for yourself. Brought to you by the same people that brought you Entourage. Basically it would be Vince's story before Queens Boulevard, before he got big. But to the point, the theme song of the show is extremely catchy. The original is by an artist Aloe Blacc titled "I Need a Dollar". Below I have that as well as some remixes by artists such as Marky, Chris Webby and Mac Miller, and the Higher Concept. Marky's version is titled "Rasta Monsta" and is my personal favorite.

Here are some new tracks since he has been signed to Cash Money. He is also making moves in his acting career. Whether it is a song he released with Sean Kingston or a freestyle, his flow is dope. Check it out below.

So just saw the movie Takers last night and I highly recommend it. If you could compare it to anything I guess you could say it is a modern day version of the movie Heat. Great action flick with some drama. On the music side one of the movie's main characters is T.I. He released a song that became the theme song for the movie. Titled "Yeah Ya Know", here is T.I.'s fresh track.

So word is Stromae has been making noise overseas. He is from belgium and this song Alors on Danse has been a chart topper in the EU. I guess you guys who were abroad will know this one already, but here it is for everyone else. Here is a version with Kanye and Gilbere Forte. This beat is amazing and will definitely get you going. I have also attached a version I've had for a few months by Francisco. His is titled "And Now We Dance". Which I believe is the translation of Alors on Danse. Both these tracks are fire.

New Jay Sean. The version some of you probably have heard has Nicki Minaj on it, but I wasn't really feeling her verse, so I went and found the version without her. Jay Sean has a very similar style in each of his songs and this one does not disappoint. Will it be the next "Down"? Who knows, but it is hot.
Got this one over at GMAD. iSquare puts out a banger titled "Hey Sexy Lady". Couldn't tell you much about iSquare. They are a group out of LA and this song is awesome. The next Black Eyed Peas? Time will tell. Looking forward to posting more of their stuff when I find it.
Hey Sexy Lady
"Blow Up" is Pill's first single off his upcoming debut album. Pill isn't a rookie in the rap game though, he has had some very successful mixtapes. Uses I.Y.A.Z. on the hook, very catchy and something you can bang in your dorm room.
Blow Up (Prod. by JR Rotem)
Kat Deluna made an appearance at Fairfield last year, but i'm sure half of you guys might have went to the concert. Well she does have a great voice and this is her new jam with Akon. Has a dance party feel using a few horns towards the second half of the song. Surprise, David Guetta is on the beat. Check it out.
Push Push (David Guetta Remix)
Wiz Khalifa came on the scene with his party hit "Say Yeah". Well its been a little while since that and Wiz is still making noise. His most recent mixtape "Kush & OJ" showed his creative side. Recently, Wiz has jumped on the radio hit "Double Vision" to lay a couple verses. We've also found a song which he collaborates with Cisco Adler from Shwayze titled "Hey Girl". "Fly Solo" has the same feel as "Hey Girl". I've also included my favorite track from "Kush & OJ", which is titled "We're Done".

Wale is probably my favorite artist at the moment. His lyrics are witty and he is always making sports references. Here he freestyles over the Gyptian's hit "Hold Yuh". This is a beast track. The original track is also below for download.

Kanye said "no one man should have all that power." So he decided to get Jay-Z and Swizz Beatz on the remix.
Since were in CT, were going to stay local and introduce you to the CT based rapper OnCue. OnCue is making moves on the underground scene right now, but that doesn't mean he isn't getting exposure. His most recent mixtape is hosted by two of the best, Mick Boogie and Terry Urban. His most recent mixtape is titled "Cueyfornication", which he pays tribute to the RHCP but rapping over a number of their beats. Check out his page for more information on that (OnCue). Today, were introducing you to some of his music. He completes a clever rap remix to the Dave Matthews hit, "Crash into Me". Also, he raps over Nas' "Surviving the Times". The other two songs are titled "Let Loose" and "She Likes My Music". He's got the talent.

The Cataracs probably represent a sound you have never before. These two guys are extremely creative and create a innovate sound that is unique. Technically, you could classify them as and Indie-pop group. They have worked with artists like Glasses Malone, Aaron Smith (vocals of Shwayze), Ya Boy, and E-40. You probably have heard the smash hit "Like a G6", which they are featured on. We are also providing you with some of their other jams that you might not have heard before. Enjoy

Mac Miller hails from the same area as Wiz Khalifa. It seems that the apple hasn't fell far from the tree. Mac Miller is up and coming in the industry right now. He has recently released his new mixtape K.I.D.S., which you can get here (K.I.D.S. Mixtape). . He is an extremely clever lyricists and uses samples from the movie KIDS. If you like this you should also check out his previous mixtape titled "The High Life". There has been nothing but praise for Mac, especially in the rap game from places like XXL Mag. The sky is the limit for Mac Miller. Here are a few of his songs.

Atmosphere has been one of my favorite acts ever since I was in middle school. Slug is one of the most underrated lyricists of all time. Slug (lyrics) and Ant (beats) combine forces to create Atmosphere. One of the first acts to put the twin cities on the map. Slug lyrics usually come from personal experiences, which makes them even more powerful. "To All My Friends" is their most recent jam. It is more of a relaxed song, so you definitely won't be playing this at any parties, but it has a great feel to it. Atmosphere goes on tour this coming year.
To All My Friends
Look at this line-up! Nicki Minaj absolutely murdered her part, becoming the next Lil' Kim. Can't go wrong with a verse by Jay.
