I Need A Dollar Original and Remixes
How To Make It In America on HBO. has become one of my favorite shows after their first season. It is great to hear that it was picked up for a second season. The show is about two guys from NYC trying to make it in the fashion business. Story of grinding and trying to make a name for yourself. Brought to you by the same people that brought you Entourage. Basically it would be Vince's story before Queens Boulevard, before he got big. But to the point, the theme song of the show is extremely catchy. The original is by an artist Aloe Blacc titled "I Need a Dollar". Below I have that as well as some remixes by artists such as Marky, Chris Webby and Mac Miller, and the Higher Concept. Marky's version is titled "Rasta Monsta" and is my personal favorite.

T.I. - Yeah Ya Know (TAKERS)
So just saw the movie Takers last night and I highly recommend it. If you could compare it to anything I guess you could say it is a modern day version of the movie Heat. Great action flick with some drama. On the music side one of the movie's main characters is T.I. He released a song that became the theme song for the movie. Titled "Yeah Ya Know", here is T.I.'s fresh track.

Stromae feat. Kanye West Gilbere Forte - Alors on Danse
So word is Stromae has been making noise overseas. He is from belgium and this song Alors on Danse has been a chart topper in the EU. I guess you guys who were abroad will know this one already, but here it is for everyone else. Here is a version with Kanye and Gilbere Forte. This beat is amazing and will definitely get you going. I have also attached a version I've had for a few months by Francisco. His is titled "And Now We Dance". Which I believe is the translation of Alors on Danse. Both these tracks are fire.

Jay Sean - 2012
New Jay Sean. The version some of you probably have heard has Nicki Minaj on it, but I wasn't really feeling her verse, so I went and found the version without her. Jay Sean has a very similar style in each of his songs and this one does not disappoint. Will it be the next "Down"? Who knows, but it is hot.

iSquare - Hey Sexy Lady
Got this one over at GMAD. iSquare puts out a banger titled "Hey Sexy Lady". Couldn't tell you much about iSquare. They are a group out of LA and this song is awesome. The next Black Eyed Peas? Time will tell. Looking forward to posting more of their stuff when I find it.

Pill feat. I.Y.A.Z. - Blow Up (Prod. by JR Rotem)
"Blow Up" is Pill's first single off his upcoming debut album. Pill isn't a rookie in the rap game though, he has had some very successful mixtapes. Uses I.Y.A.Z. on the hook, very catchy and something you can bang in your dorm room.

Chris Akinyemi - Radio
Chris Akinyemi brings a different feel to todays music. His lyrics have a meaning and he describes how he is going to make his impact. Has sort of a Mario feel. This is more of an R&B track, but the man has skills.

Kat Deluna feat. Akon - Push Push
Kat Deluna made an appearance at Fairfield last year, but i'm sure half of you guys might have went to the concert. Well she does have a great voice and this is her new jam with Akon. Has a dance party feel using a few horns towards the second half of the song. Surprise, David Guetta is on the beat. Check it out.

Wiz Khalifa + 3Oh!3, also Hey Girl, Fly Solo, and We're Done
Wiz Khalifa came on the scene with his party hit "Say Yeah". Well its been a little while since that and Wiz is still making noise. His most recent mixtape "Kush & OJ" showed his creative side. Recently, Wiz has jumped on the radio hit "Double Vision" to lay a couple verses. We've also found a song which he collaborates with Cisco Adler from Shwayze titled "Hey Girl". "Fly Solo" has the same feel as "Hey Girl". I've also included my favorite track from "Kush & OJ", which is titled "We're Done".

Wale - Hold You Freestyle
Wale is probably my favorite artist at the moment. His lyrics are witty and he is always making sports references. Here he freestyles over the Gyptian's hit "Hold Yuh". This is a beast track. The original track is also below for download.

Atmosphere - To All My Friends
Atmosphere has been one of my favorite acts ever since I was in middle school. Slug is one of the most underrated lyricists of all time. Slug (lyrics) and Ant (beats) combine forces to create Atmosphere. One of the first acts to put the twin cities on the map. Slug lyrics usually come from personal experiences, which makes them even more powerful. "To All My Friends" is their most recent jam. It is more of a relaxed song, so you definitely won't be playing this at any parties, but it has a great feel to it. Atmosphere goes on tour this coming year.

Kanye West - Monster (feat. Jay-Z, Rick Ross, Nicki Minaj, & Bon Iver)
Look at this line-up! Nicki Minaj absolutely murdered her part, becoming the next Lil' Kim. Can't go wrong with a verse by Jay.
